Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

The fastest way is by email to contact@altairluggage.com. We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal and send you all the information for the return.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Costs of return

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

We can arrange your return and send you a ready-to-use label after you contact us. We will tell you the actual cost before you decide to use it. Suitcase returns are usually around €20–€30, depending on size and location; we will quote the exact cost of a UK return in pounds. Accessories can cost considerably less to return. You may also arrange the return yourself after requesting the appropriate address. We deduct a label cost only if you have accepted that label and its stated cost in advance and the law applicable to your order allows the deduction.

We send you the correct return address with the label, choosing it according to your delivery country. A short message with your order number helps us match the return. You do not need our prior approval to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal.

Compensation for loss of value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

In plain terms: you may unpack the suitcase, look at it and try out the lock and the wheels – just as you would do in a shop. A shell that has already been used for travel, scratched or covered with stickers may, however, result in compensation for loss of value.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (e.g. individual engravings).
